A beautifully written story of a boy named George who knows deep down that he is really a girl. She secretly looks at the pages of girl magazines and dreams of being a female. When school does the yearly production of Charlotte's Web, George really wants to be Charlotte but when she auditions her teacher thinks it is some sort of joke. She also knows that if she gets the part she will be revealing her true self to everyone. Is she ready to let the world know her secret?
I found this book very important especially nowadays. There are a lot of children who are going through the same thing that George is going through. This is a modern contemporary read for middle aged students. It is an easy ready that everyone should read.
